Senet Showcases its LoRaWAN Technology and Partner Ecosystem at IoT World 2017

CTO & Executive Vice President Engineering Dave Kjendal to speak on LPWANs in wide area cellular and local area short range wireless technologies

Santa Clara, CA and Portsmouth, NH – (April 26, 2017) – Senet, the first and fastest growing North American provider of public, low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) for long range Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol, today announced that it will be showcasing its LoRaWAN technology on the exhibit floor at IoT World 2017. Senet’s CTO and EVP of Engineering, Dave Kjendal, will also be speaking at the event, which is being held May 16 – 18, 2017 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

In his May 17 panel discussion, “How LPWAN fills the performance gap between wide area cellular and local area short range wireless technologies,” which is part of the IoT Architecture Symposium track, Kjendal will discuss how low-power wide-area networks provide connectivity at lower price points, how they enable long range, wide area point-to-mulitpoint connectivity and how they remove the need for complicated mesh topologies and extensive wiring to access points.

About Senet, Inc.
Senet, a contributing member of the LoRa Alliance™, is the first and fastest growing provider in North America of low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) with its class-leading LoRa® modulation for IoT/M2M applications. LPWANs enable value-driven solutions that can unlock immediate ROI by enabling devices to connect over very long ranges (approximately 15 miles) while delivering very long battery power life (approximately 10 years) for an extremely low total cost of ownership. For applications that require low cost, low power, and long range, the secure Senet network has distinct advantages over cellular, Wi-Fi, and other emerging connectivity technologies for the IoT market.
