Senet, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software and services platforms that enable global connectivity and on-demand network build-outs for the Internet of Things (IoT) today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a new patent for Senet’s unique approach to IoT networking, U.S. Patent Number 11,044,607 entitled “Method for gateway onboarding for IoT networks.”
With dense carrier-grade coverage already in place to support Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for water utilities, Senet is expanding its network to cover over 1,600 square miles across Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, including the cities of Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg. This network will be the largest and densest metropolitan deployment of public carrier-grade LoRaWAN connectivity in North America, providing capacity to support millions of IoT device connections from over 80 planned tower sites.
Through this collaboration, the ADTRAN 7310-08 IoT Gateway is now certified to operate with Senet’s cloud-based network management platform, providing businesses, VARs and system integrators a clear path to deploying and managing cost effective and secure LoRaWAN connectivity in and around commercial buildings at scale.
Senet, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software and services platforms that enable global connectivity and on-demand network build-outs for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced a collaboration with SenRa, a PAN India LoRaWAN® public network operator, to integrate its network with SenRa’s Ginjer IoT Analytics platform, streamlining users’ access to global carrier-grade LoRaWAN connectivity and real-time application performance data.
Processing millions of transactions daily through its platform, Senet reports growth in the enterprise and industrial IoT market segments, including significant demand from multi-location businesses as they address requirements for designing, deploying and managing networks for highly scalable and distributed IoT solutions.
Since launching LoRaWAN connectivity services in India’s National Capital Region (NCR) in May 2017, SenRa has expanded its network operation to 74 cities across the country. Paramount to SenRa’s growth has been the time-to-market advantages offered by Senet’s managed network services, reducing a typical 18 - 24 month network rollout to an average of 90 days.
